My work is deeply rooted in the rhythms and cycles of the natural world and connects threads of life, nature, and creativity.
When writing, I try to touch on questions like how to live deeply and sustainably, how to discover wonder amidst the mundane routines of our lives and how we can allow for our creativity to flourish in a time ruled by technology and fast-paced striving.
For me, writing offers an antidote to the disenchantment and exhaustion so many of us feel today. It offers me a place of belonging, teaches me to pay attention and gives me a voice to advocate for what I believe matters most.
I care deeply about protecting the natural world that sustains us, and of which we are part.
I believe that creativity is, and will always remain, a deeply human trait.
To me, writing is a way to express myself, to become more awake to life, and to deepen the connection between my innermost self and the world.
While I work on my first book, I am also writing wild pulse, my free essay newsletter with reflections on life, nature, and creativity.

In 2018, I packed up my life and my family and moved from the city I was born in to Rügen – a small island in the baltic sea where I had vacationed by the seashore every summer as a child.
In another lifetime I had been a violinist, before having made words my profession as a freelance translator and editor.
Moving to the sea had been my lifelong dream, and as I walked under big skies and watched the waves rolling in, I felt drawn towards a new creative horizon.
After training as a mindfulness instructor and meditation teacher, I began building my own small business where I help writers overcome creative blocks, reconnecting them to self-expression that is joyful and feels deeply meaningful.
I started offering workshops and creating writing courses, and as my business grew, so did my dreams. Before long, writers from all over Germany (and some from other countries) joined me for transformative writing retreats by the sea.
Building, growing, and sustaining a small business and a family is not without challenges, but I feel deeply priviledged to be able to do this work.
At the core of it all lies my deep love for the natural world and an approach to creativity that values sustainability, ease, and joy.
wonder-seeker
In a world running at an ever-increasing pace, we are often left disenchanted and exhausted as we reach for answers to some of life’s deeper questions.
How can we recover our sense of home both within ourselves and in the world?
How can we build a life of meaning that feels like it is truly ours?
How do we rekindle our sense of wonder and awaken our creativity to capture it?
I have found some of the answers in the wisdom of the natural world, a wisdom that leads us back to the truest version of ourselves on a path sparkling with wonder.
Nature teaches us that the meaning we seek is already there, if only we are willing to turn our head skyward, watch a wave unfold as it moves towards the shore, or feel the wind on our skin.
Learning to pay attention in this way, we move closer towards our own true nature.
By letting ourselves be moved by the elemental forces that shaped our world and our own existence, we find our place in the polyphonic symphony of being and return to the wild place within that holds all we are and have yet to become.
